Torn disk in his back. Gillis said they didn't know if it's something that just happened, or something that got progressively worse over the last few games, but said Edler only complained about it after the Dallas game.

We have tons of depth. This is called adversity - the best teams go through it and end up ok... as will the Canucks!

But goddamnwhatthehell - why Edler!? He's been such an impact player all season. :(

God damm, can they even call Salo up right away? I think they have to wait the 10 games or 28 days until Edlers salary is off the books.

Better injured now than later... maybe he'll be back in time for playoffs...
