Oh crap, of all places to hit the glass, he hits the photographer's hole... By default, don't they close it up when not in use? Horrible timing!

And Cooke, you have to admit, he's pretty dirty...

No, don't want. Calgary may give the Canucks bad indigestion.

I fear not!

Anyways the rivalry has died down so much that it's boring. They really need to build it back up. What better way that playoffs?

need2speed 02-08-2011 09:34 PM

what are the odds that you would hit you head through the camera hole.

Well so far this season the Canucks are 2-1 vs. Calgary.

And that 1 win for Calgary was an shootout win.

If that was a sign of things to come, I like those odds.

AzNightmare 02-08-2011 11:19 PM

I don't understand why Cooke doesn't get suspended for those kind of cheap shots...
It's just silly. Does the victim need to be injured for something to happen?

Beyond me why Cooke didn't get suspended from the last game's knee on knee.

Maybe everyone should start diving like soccer players and pretend to be injured to draw some attention.
Seems like the league doesn't care until it's too late, after someone needs to go to the hospital.

But then again, Sucker punches receives couple game suspensions, but intent to injure means no suspension?

Actually, he's having a meeting via phone tomorrow for discipline.

Since its only by phone, it will mean 5 games or less.

Honestly I just want the rivalry to get started back up again. The playoffs against the Flames in 2004 was epic even tho we lost. I've been dying for this match up ever since. I loved to hate the Flames but since they starting sucking ass a few years ago, it's no fun anymore.

And ya it would be a tough series and would suck if we lose to them but...

we won't.

5 games or less is good enough I guess. As long as there is a suspension.

It's not that they will knock us out in the first round, it's more like injuries. Mind you they're not as tough a team anymore, but why invite trouble? Having said that, playoffs are playoffs. It's do or die for any team and anything goes. Gawd, I hope our boys stay healthy.
