Early reports are that Hamhuis is okay. He might miss the next game as a precaution.

I don't know if that's BS or not. From the hit and how he was on the ice and getting off it, that had concussion all over it.

Haha, the horn came on for a split second in the second period but no one scored.

The horn is damn loud in lower bowl compared to upper.

I was at the game, and when Hamhuis was injured, a member of the coaching staff wearing a suit went out to talk to him. Anybody see who it was?

I rather him sit out 2-3 games as a precaution. Don't want it to turn out like a Mitchell situation.

Good game in an entertainment perspective but it was a pretty bad game for the Canucks. Our defense just got picked apart last night.

Actually, I was holding my breath but the last game against the Sens showed signs that the defense was starting to lax out a bit. Should've been a Sens win hadn't have been for the 3 goal posts in the 2nd period.

Here's to hoping the D tightens up for next game. I like their offense but not at the cost of risky defense.

I'm pretty sure that was Wilks, the Canucks' team doctor

Correlation != causation . Tamby's good when he's hot, but he hasn't been the cause of our [previous] win streak(s).

The sky is falling, at least on CDC.

If we run into a team like the Ducks in the playoffs, team toughness may become a problem again. I'm not a fan of Getzlaf, but I sure would want him on my team; he's an SOB, but a talented one and the same goes for Perry.

Are there any tough 3rd/4th liner types on the last year of their contracts (besides Ruutu) that are out there?

Yeah, that was crazy.

I didn't think Fisher was worth a first rounder but I guess the Sens are going into rebuilding mode.

Mike Fisher is/was Ottawa's version of our Kesler.

And the first rounder isnt really that special as its going to be a low to mid 20s pick.

The real thing here is watch out for Nashville. They are the quiet team playing really well in the west this year and could very easily surprize some people and do some damage in the playoffs.
