Well, kinda good that all these guys in the minors get called up to get some NHL experience.

Playoffs is a real grind, and if the Dmen are getting worn down already, how long are they going to last in the playoffs?
1 round? maybe 2 rounds??

Calling up minors to replace the experience guys during playoffs is probably not going to work out as well as it is now.
Those rookies are gonna be mindblasted in the playoff intensity/pressure.

honestly, i don't care if we keep 1st place in the west. i'd rather we all be healthy and ready for the playoffs.

We've been good about not letting Weber use his shot in the past view games. The Canucks have been double teaming him and putting pressure on him so he does not have a shooting lane that may cause a turn over.

Instead of patching up the blue line- which is nearly impossible at this point, they should pick up offensive players and play a more offensive game. There's really no point in playing the same system if your system is based on defense.

Offense starts with defence. if you don't have defencemen clearing the zone and / or making that first pass out, good luck generating any offense. You're not going to play 60 minutes in the offensive zone no matter who you have playing forward.

Could gillis be working around the cap issues + the league to rest up our dmen for the playoffs? :troll:

for sure!!

A few of our Dmen have been crucial on the offensive plays as well - they help move the puck around with our puck cycle - and lots of times have been shooting the puck in for a goal, or for a tip shot.
