E.J. has struggled this season and having that injury 2 seasons ago, has setback his development I think. That, coupled with Pietrangelo's fast track to a great two-way defender, has made him tradable. I personally believe that E.J. will be more like Bouwmeester, a great skater and defender, but not the offensive talent that many would think him to be.
STL will have two big strong forwards now in Backes and Stewart, with the potential of both of them to be 30+ goal scorers. Having Pietrangelo and Shattenkirk on PP1 will be great too. Hopefully, EJ will turn it around and this trade will work out for both teams.

I heard from a coworker that there are a few signings tomorrow? Kesler at tinsel, Raymond at aberdeen or something? anyone know the details?
