It's already fun times being a Calgary fan living in Vancouver, but I can imagine it getting 100 times crazier if it was playoffs and we were going head to head.

:woot2:

id prefer 2nd, 3rd or 4th....we can meet vancouver in the later rounds

Not really racist! 03-06-2011 08:16 PM

I love it.. Mark Cuban high-expectation type of ownership without the media hype and the attention whore attitude..

I surely hope we get an NBA team in the very near future under his ownership.

I thought the 4th spot is the highest position you can get? :fullofwin:

AzNightmare 03-06-2011 09:04 PM

Well... yes, that's true. 4th is the highest Flames will go...
Even if Canucks drop in standings, Flames won't overtake for the NW title.

PinoyDrifta 03-06-2011 09:09 PM

Flames Sucks... Nuff said. :D:D:D

spoon.ek9 03-06-2011 10:10 PM

did anyone see the cute brunette in the h.sedin jersey? she was in the crowd of canucks fans that stayed behind to take group pictures.

trancehead 03-06-2011 11:02 PM

I would LOVE to see the canucks play the flames in the opening round of the playoffs. To see a rekindled rivalry with the now not so handicapped flames would be awesome:fullofwin:

Is the Rogers Arena "sell out" record still on going? I haven't been to a game in a while, but it seems like there are more and more empty seats in Vancouver.

But it's not as bad as say, Atlanta... yikes, their arena is so empty!

Just because our seats are empty doesn't mean they're not sold.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Nashville game? A lot of people had tickets to the Nashville game but couldnt/didnt go. There were a ton on CL and the BST. I don't think anyone wanted to watch super boring hockey that day.

I was at the Nashville game, it was still pretty sold out. Upper bowl had nearly no empty seats. Lower bowl is about 95% filled.

MG1 03-07-2011 03:55 AM

His eyeballs aren't moving together and are about to pop out. That's why he can see the ice so well.........

grease is still energy! only a problem if you're an overfed couch potato

Soundy 03-07-2011 06:43 AM

Holy crap... Canucks now *SEVEN POINTS* clear of Philly for first in the league... and Philly has only two games in hand. Seven up on Detroit, and Detroit with one game in hand, too!

Slipped to third in goals-for, but still WAY out front in goal differential - +61, Boston second with +47, Chicago third with +36.

they eat a shit ton of calories before and after games. the norm for pre game used to be spaghetti and steak then they would have something around the same after wards. now they usually get buffets at hotel so its convenient for pre game nap then they either bring in food to arena or go out afterwards

AzNightmare 03-07-2011 08:43 AM

Oh I see, I had this misconception that pro athletes never ate anything considered "junk food" then.

lol, didn't even see the Dallas player ducking down at first.... now it makes a bit more sense.
