There really is no reason for a coach to go nuts on the refs. That should be up to other people in the organization. Publicly yelling at the refs and ranting via the media only gets your club/team into more hot water, not to mention losing respect. Besides, it's not AV's style. I imagine there will be a time when he will lose it and snap, but................. he is not useless as a coach.

i have more respect for coaches who can keep it together and go through the proper channels to complain/raise concerns.

the thing about savard is that, yes that hit was brutal and it was no one elses fault but cookes, BUT when you see savard play... he is a small guy.. if he goes into any kind of collision with any defenseman, it is more likely going to end in his head being bounced around by the d mans shoulder or elbow because of the height different.. Yes cooke ended his career, but savard has always had concussion issues.

As for cooke being a fuck, I would like cooke to end avery's career though. I hate avery more than any other player in the NHL.
