I bet you are the same type of people, just like the media, who would make a big deal out of a season ending injury with Andrew fucking Alberts. |
Heathly Wellwood didnt get us too far :troll: |

You want to disagree with me, that's fine. But, you're pushing it too far considering that this is not Fight Club. |

We need our depth players to remain healthy throughout the playoffs. We need our star players to play like stars, our grinders to play like grinders, and Lui playing like Lui. If everyone plays to their role, not having Maholtra is more of a speed bump on our road to the cup. IF Lapierre steps up like the way he did last year, I would be pretty happy about our chances. This reminds me how earlier in the year how people on CDC bitch about Nonis has done more for this team's improvement than Gillis. Yet, it's Gillis' players (Maholtra, Hamhuis) that we don't want to lose or we may not "win" the cup. lol And we are thankful for Gillis to bring in Higgins and Lapierre. |

^ can't say for certain. Even if the bottom edge of the visor had managed to slow the puck down a fraction, you never know if the outcome would have been different for Manny. Every new player in the NHL should keep their visor on. Posted via RS Mobile |

Just by seeing where the cut location was, a visor would have done plenty to protect the forehead. And the blade didn't come up from under the nose anyway. But even if it did, the visor would have protected a possible eye injury, that is if the skate had enough room between the face and visor in the first place. The visor helps! Edit: Sorry, were you referring to Manny or Thornton? lol... Cause I was talking about Thornton... And debate as much as we want, I still believe a visor would have prevented Maholtra's injury. I just watched the replay again frame-by-frame and the puck was NOT coming up under, near-parallel to his face. Nor was the puck even in the "horizontal" position. And if you guys don't believe me, watch the replay again, and see how far Maholtra and Johnson's stick is from their body. There's no way the puck could have been deflected under a visor from that angle. In order for the puck to deflect straight up between a visor, it would have to deflect off something close to the body, and underneath the face. |
i think even for Manny's incident a visor would've helped... there's not much room between the visor and ur face... the puck would have to go go straight up and not knuckle or anything.. and from the footage that we got to see u can't say if a visor wouldn't have helped |
I was talking about Thornton lol. But in either situation all we can do is debate, as we would never know if a visor would have made any difference at all. |

Lol I thought !Nhan was talking about Malhotra, my bad. Posted via RS Mobile |
