tried for EVERYTHING but no dice. fml. It was 10:01am.

Hondaracer 04-02-2011 09:18 AM

fuck i hate ticketmaster..

and i hate my alarm clock for waking me up at 10:08 instead of 945..

Splmash 04-02-2011 09:18 AM

fuck ticketmasters

JKam 04-02-2011 09:20 AM

gilfriend just got game 3 tickets but they cost $500 for 2... fml.

Hondaracer 04-02-2011 09:24 AM

if anyone has a pair of lower bowl they want to sell PM me, willing to be a premium but nothing outrageous

the markup on CL, scalpers, etc. wont be insane until the weekend games, if game 1 is on a weekday should be slightly above face

illicitstylz 04-02-2011 09:30 AM

tickets got cleared out right away.

you guys can still check out stubhub.com if you need tickets though (reseller, USD prices while our dollar is strong)

TOS'd 04-02-2011 09:30 AM

Fuckign Ticketmaster. I still had 2 mins on my page and I went to click continue and it said error.

Spidey 04-02-2011 09:31 AM

i can't believe you guys are actually paying those prices for tickets... Honestly I would rather spend 1000 bucks on stanley cup final game, than 200 for a game 1 or 2 round 1. Round 1 and even 2 series games are pointless to go to.

Enjoy the games with your friends at a bar near downtown or at someones house with a bigass HD tv and cheap beer.

Hondaracer 04-02-2011 09:35 AM

i like going to game 1 for the atmosphere and getting pumped for rest of the playoffs, then just take whatever other games come along after that

I personally enjoy watching hockey on TV but for playoffs I'm going for the atmosphere. You're way more emotionally attached to the team when you're with thousands of others who are feeling the same way.

And not everyone can afford $1000 tickets. I can barely afford $200 tickets.

!YaoShi 04-02-2011 09:54 AM

I'd rather go out with my all my buddies to watch the finals and go to first round with just a few of them. Me or my friends can't afford 1000+ tickets so why not go out to a bar and watch with them.

I just gave up. No luck for game 1 and 2, I was using three computers

I had a chance for home game 3, sec321, row8 for $230 a piece x3. Clicked back and it was gone...

Now I got home game 4, sec 305, row15 for $157 a piece x3. I hope they don't need to go all the way to game 7, but it's gonna be epic in a game 7 building.

Eh, bought some tickets for Game 1 through stubhub, we'll see..

Hondaracer 04-02-2011 10:47 AM

stubhub had reasonable prices for upper bowl, but no way am i paying 3 bills per for lower

What i was saying was that I would rather spend the money (extra money) on conference or stanley cup finals than round 1. It's kind of like.. would you spend x amount on team canada olympics game against norway.. or spend more and go to the gold medal game?

I guess some of you rather go to a cheaper game than no game at all, but personally I think watchign games live is a bit overrated especially with the price tag that comes with it... And I hate big crowds even if they are all canuck fans

mb_ 04-02-2011 11:06 AM

dude you just said you'd rather go to the stanley cup game but you think watching live is over rated and you hate large crowds? Just stay home then and leave the tickets for someone else that wants to go.

I WANT to go to the stanley cup game but I don't have $1000 just lying around. If i did, I would go. I want to spend money to see whatever game I can. I'm not going to go and spend out of my means (which seems like a common trend in Vancouver) just to see a hockey game. Yes I love my Canucks but not at $1000 for a few hours live, simply because I can't afford it.
