I don't have any authentic jerseys (fight strap). I do have real premier jerseys from the team store/authorized dealers. I don't even know which "fakes" people are bitching about but I'll wear mine with pride. I support the team without having to pay over $300 for a piece of clothing.

I think some people are confused about fakes from China and replicas/premier jerseys from RBK.

I don't have a problem with people buying fake jerseys but at least get one that has the correct info on them. So far I've seen Kesler jersey with the C, Henrik with #22 and Daniel with #33 lol.

As far as the fake jersey degate goes, I can't really blame people if they don't know enough. Some people are just uneducated and only know they're getting a good deal. I think the people on Craigslist and ebay who try to pass them off as real and dupe people are the real scumbags. Oh, and the loudmouth guys wearings fakes going off on how they got such a sweet deal.

In all honesty though, it's painfully easy to tell a fake from a real one. They do look like garbage.

You know, I don't really care if people are out there sporting well-made fakes/3rd party jerseys. But when your lettering is so blatantly off from the original, it catches my eye (negatively) and it creates some dissonance in the otherwise uniform aesthetic in the sea Canuck blue and green. And being a perfectionist and having done design work over the years, seeing bad lettering makes me twinge.

But fuck, I don't care if you get your shit at the team store, rocky mountain printing, or at some herpes-ridden van driven by a hobo who also sells fake tiger blood on the side. If it's congruent with the rest of the jerseys (looks-wise), it's alllll good.
