I keep all my Canucks tickets as well but I store them in a photo album with all my other memorable stuff like Whitecaps, Lions tickets, all my airline boarding passes from around the world, stuff like that.
Nice to look back on.
I took out the hockey cards I collected long ago as a kid and looked through them...
Saw one of my hockey cards was Jim Carey.
I still remember looking at this card when I was like 7 or 8 and thinking it was funny he had the same name as Jim Carrey the actor ('cept for the r which I didn't realize at the time).
thanks any idea what time things are going to get under way? I assume game starts at 7, so the presidents trophy and awards inside would prob start at 6?
anyone?

I doubt it would be that early, besides the Roger Nielson tribute unveiling is schedule for 6pm outside GM Place. My guess is that the President Trophy presentation would be closer to puck drop. The Capitals held theirs last year before a game against the Thrashers and it was just 5mins before puck drop, all it was is just Bill Daly bringing the trophy out, posing for picture, thats it, it took all of 3mins.
^^ thanks now I don't have to rush too much to get there and have time to check into my hotel and be taken for dinner without missing stuff

Just read this article about Hamhuis! class act all the way.
Quote:
Hamhuis, Butler still best buddies
There were plenty of people who had smiles on their faces when they saw Dan Hamhuis at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday. The former Predators defenseman, now a member of the Vancouver Canucks, was one of the most likable players during his time in Nashville.
Teammates, coaches, staff, members of the media, everyone always enjoyed being around Hamhuis.
But on Tuesday, one person’s smile was the widest.
Clay Butler met Hamhuis three years ago as part of the Best Buddies program. Part of the organization’s goal is to create one-on-one friendships for young adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Butler, 23, has Down syndrome.
Predators Coach Barry Trotz, whose son, Nolan, has Down syndrome, works closely with Best Buddies of Tennessee and helped Hamhuis get involved.
“Clay and Dan really clicked when they first met,” Clay’s mother, Susan Gray, said. “Clay’s dad is kind of missing in action, so he really likes having a guy around to talk to.”
During Hamhuis’ time in Nashville, he and his wife, Sarah, would take Clay out to eat, play basketball or just sit around and talk. Clay and Susan even took Hamhuis to his first college basketball game (it was a Vanderbilt women’s game two seasons ago). For Clay’s 21st birthday, Hamhuis gave him a Predators jersey with the number 21. It had Clay’s last name on the back.
When Vancouver signed Hamhuis as a free agent last July, Clay worried if that was the end of the relationship.
Not a chance.
“It really is impressive that Dan is keeping up with Clay even though he has moved,” Susan said. “He still calls. He still texts. He called us last Friday and said he would have tickets for us at the game.”
That would be the Vancouver vs. Nashville game on Tuesday. Hamhuis, who did not play because of an injury, brought Clay up to a suite at Bridgestone Arena to watch the game, and then took him to the Vancouver locker room. Clay was wearing a Predators jersey, but a Vancouver hat.
“They were so happy to see each other,” Susan said. “It’s just fun to have a buddy that will stick with you. It’s a friend for life, not just for a couple of years. I’m so happy they were put together.”
Total class act ^
And the fact that he still keeps in touch and calls is amazing. He probably makes Clay's day everytime they talk/text. Amazing Posted via RS Mobile

On team 1040, sounds like AV will try to fit Schneider in for 2 games to make him eligible for the Jennings trophy. All he needs to do is play like 30 seconds in a game to qualify.

In The Province today, Lu is aware of the Jennings and doesnt mind letting Schneids get some ice time in order to qualify for the trophy. As they both would get their names on it. Lu said he doesnt mind letting Schneids 1 shift or a couple of seconds lol. Posted via RS Mobile
And then we lost on that stupid shot from the point...

LOL that was one of the funniest moments in Canucks history when Lu had to take a shit during OT of a playoff game. I don't think that's ever happened before.
The 25 games is seriously arbitrary. Is there anyone on the planet that doubts Schnoo's contribution to the lowest goals allowed in the league this year? Get that guy's name on the trophy. I think it's good for team unity even if it is a bit of a distraction.
