Grabner isn't going to come anywhere close to replacing Raymond's 25 goals.

Grabner could match Raymond's mark, but Raymond has more depth as a player at the moment, gotta sacrifice to be good, he was on the unfortunate end

i think grabner is capable of scoring more than raymond actually... raymond has been around longer than grabner... but i think grabner will be more consistent and has deadlier shots, and probably wouldn't overskate the puck as much

Grabner seems to have better hands. Raymond's legs are too fast for his hands to react although he seems to be getting better every season.

Id rather have grabner then raymond.

x2 Grabner was a hugee loss although he hasn't really done much in the league yet... but he also hasn't played many games yet

Raymond is most definitely the better player "at the moment." But it's not like he set the bar really high for Grabner.

Saying that he won't come anywhere near close to the player Raymond is, is a bit too much of a reach there.

the last player we had like that was named ryan kesler and i think he turned out quite alright :)

Raymond better than Grabner only because he's had more time to develop. Raymond in his first year or two was brutal always coughing up the puck and falling down from skating too fast.

yeah, I meant he wouldn't replace those goals in the immediate future, ie. this year and likely next. Long term it might be a wash, but at this point Raymond is at least semi-proven, while Grabner is still an unknown.
