These comments about Iggy almost bring a tear to my eye. :)

He's been nothing but class his entire career so if anyone even suggested that in the room, he'd probably fuck them up.

I remember when the shook hands Linden whispered something into his ear.

It went along the lines of "you're the best in the league right now".

I can't see the Flames being interested in this game at all. It's like your last day at work right before you go on holidays, you don't give a fuck you just want to put your time in and get out.

AzNightmare 04-08-2011 09:28 AM

Iggy will still come out strong. Finish with some heart.
I'm just hoping Canucks aren't in cruise control because of a big win against the Wild.

If Perry racks up a bunch of pts tonight though, it might motivate the team to give Danny some more points.

Edler looked good. I'm glad to have our best defenceman back :D

IF perry and daniel are tie in points, I think the tie breaker is goals?

The NHL rules stipulate three tiebreakers in case two or more players are tied in points:[1]

1. Player with most goals
2. Player with fewer games played
3. Player scoring first goal of the season

From wikipedia, three tiebreakers:

1) most goals
2) fewer games played
3) player who scored a goal first in that season

Edit: Damn, 1 minute too late!

I think it might actually happen! But I thought Hammer had a bit longer to go on his injury?

Even then, Hart Trophy > Art Ross Trophy. Which Perry's going to win :D

IMO the Ted Lindsay Trophy (formerly Lester B Pearson) > than Hart and Art Ross. Greater accomplishment having your peers vote you as the best player/MVP than a bunch of writers. The Hart just gets more attention because of the history behind it and the media hypes it more because they vote on it.

Greenstoner 04-08-2011 12:34 PM

Henrik is wearing Daniel's jersey all season :troll: to get the scoring title

The Canucks have done an amazing job celebrating their 40th anniversary, but what The Sabres are doing tonight is pretty amazing too. The Sabres owner had sent invitations to every single player who has played for the Sabres, 1 game or 1000 games, to fly in and attend tonights game at his expense. About 80-90 former Sabres will attend tonight.
