I hope for either Dallas to squeak in or preferably LA loses and CHI wins. The kings would be an easy road minus Kopitar and Williams. The travel was also mentioned, LA is only a 2 and a half hour flight and there is no time change.

You know you would destroy any one of them at the drop of a hat
with all the airbrushing they stil don't look like 10s. but like you said... i would crush their guts no ifs ands or buts... it's good that the canucks don't have skanky ice girls.. but it's a shame i have google dallas la and chicago girls.. not to mention long island hehe
like many of us have mentioned before, beating chicago (whichever round we might face them in) would be a huge confidence booster for the team. i really would rather face chicago now than say.... the 2nd round AGAIN; cuz then this shit would REALLY get into their heads.

If we don't play them Chicago isn't beating SJ or DET so that isn't a concern.

theres a nice special on Stanley Cup heros on CBC right now.
My favorite memory for as long as I lived would have to be Ray Bourque. I remember that year, Joe Sakic's goal that year was one. 16W for Bourque. I had chills down my spine seeing him lift the cup up high. Seeing Sakic hand off the cup to Ray was spectacular as well
of course there was the 94 playoffs, but individually, that Ray Bourque moment was special
I've always wondered... Is the graphics painted on the ground underneath the ice, or is it sprayed on the ice and then another layer of ice is put on?
Btw, I was just reading a thread on CDC about an asterisk on a stanley cup because of injured players?
Can anyone give me more info on what's that about? Never heard of it before. But reading stuff on CDC hurts my head, so I rather ask here.

they can't put it direct on the cement since you won't be able to see it clear enough.
Oh okay. Yeah I didn't think it would be clear enough if it was on the ground. (and it would be more permanent)
But painting on ice sounded like it would not stick. Must be special paint they use.
So would they melt all the ice and redo all the lines again, when they need to just add that stanley cup playoffs logo?

That looks like a lot of work, wow. Imagine places like LA or NY where they have basketball too and having to re-do that process once or twice a week. Seems so tedious!

I would do that job in a heart beat. Get paid great money you can watch every hockey game know all the players and feel like part of the team. That would honestly be a dream job for someone like me who has been a die hard hockey fan his whole life.
