for me it doesn't matter who we face, I think the canucks has a chance to crush them all regardless of if it's dallas (who the canucks owned in the regular season) or the hawks (defending champs who eliminated canucks 2 yrs in a row).. i just think they would be more pumped up if they do end up facing the hawks 1st round. this would be better for the whole team mentally as well in the later rounds

playing chicago though I also see a much higher likelihood of a long, brutal series, more chances of injuries and the team getting burnt out for later rounds.

Fucking dallas is useless if they can't even beat Minny with their playoffs on the line

I would rather see a healthy Canucks team win a couple boring series on their way to playing an intense series against Boston/Philly/etc for the cup, than a Canucks team getting beat up and losing guys to injuries playing an intense series in the first round against Chicago.

I dont give a fuck how entertaining a series against whoever would be in the first round. I want a healthy Canucks team making it to the cup final. and IMO, Dallas is the easiest first round we could ever hope for.
