Hodgson should be comfortable in the centre position and Raymond will be on the wing..
Hansen's and Raymond's speed with the way Hodgson see the game could make for some magic..one can only hope..
i'm sure they'll be fine. this is mainly to fill the gap while torres is out for the first two games. we'll see where oreskovich and hodgson fit in after raffi's return.
Is he? Last I heard he wasn't playing very well in Manitoba, so was suprised to hear he was called up. Especially since you'd think he'd be called up for the final few games (last 2 for sure) to get his NHL legs underneath him. Maybe it was a cap issue? Posted via RS Mobile

Not sure about now but I know for sure last week sometime he got scratched due to injury but remember it being minor.

Having been among the NHL's elite teams for the better part of the past decade, the Vancouver Canucks established themselves atop that list this season by capturing the Presidents' Trophy and putting the franchise in prime position to lift the Stanley Cup for the first time.

Put this as your status if you know someone/are related to someone who suffers from being a Chicago Blackhawks fan. Being a Blackhawks fan is a real disorder and should be taken seriously. There is still no known cure for CBF and sympathy does not help. But we can raise awareness. 90% of Blackhawks fans wont repost this ... because they don't know how to cut and paste.

i love watching these videos because i can still clearly remember each goal, each massive save, each fight and scrum! i've probably only missed watching 1 game this season and perhaps 2 last season
i really wish malhotra could have been part of our playoffs this year; really makes me a little depressed

You just know, the way Gillis and Aquilini roll, they'll have him around the whole time... great morale booster for the whole team, and for the fans. Look at the reaction it got when he came out for the President's Trophy presentation, from both on and off the ice.
This goes to prove what I said when Gillis was first hired: his experience as an agent gives him a unique perspective into the kinds of things that entice players to come here, and to keep them here, and keep them happy - from the way you treat them on a personal level, right down to the sickest dressing rooms in the league, sometimes there's more to it than just money (especially in the salary-cap era).

yup, they actually mentioned it before (can't remember where or who atm). manny has still been reviewing video, talking to the team about strategy, sharing everything he can with teammates to better our chances. he still has a huge voice in the locker room and is well respected. i too love what gillis has done with this team and he really has solidified vancouver as a premier location to play your NHL career.
