I found this list pretty entertaining to read. Hopefully it'll kill at least ten minutes, of the 420ish left, for those of you waiting in anticipation.

We're pumped for the NHL playoffs. Are you? Here are 75 reasons to watch what happens until the Cup is hoisted in June.

Ballard is a beast with his hipchecks.

Ballard > Rome

Canucks team store giving away towels and scarves to ppl with jerseys at their playoff store on Robson. Follow their twitter to see where their next location is!

Here's a poem that my co-worker wrote, he told me to post it here:

Finally, it's time.....
Unite Canucks nation, playoffs are here
Crush all the teams in our way!
Kissing Stanley..., no it won't be gay!

Towel power! Wave 'em around!
History in the making,
EVERYBODY!! Canucks are cup bound!

Hard checking, bone breaking,
Adrenaline rushing, arena shaking!
We going to war!
Kill 'em if you have to! It's our time!
Smile if you read the 1st letter of each line

Shaving in a bit and starting fresh for the first game.

It's going to be funny cause I'm going on vacation next month and by the time I shave, after we win the cup, I'm going to have a wicked beard tan.

meh, this is why I've always preferred watching in my own house or a buddy's house.
I can't stand public places, and drunk people. And this might even extend to watching games live.
The game feels naked without the commentary.

If I need the environment of energetic fans, I come here after every goal and see people spamming pics of
MONSTER, BLITZKRIEG, BEAST, STORSJOODJURET, DAS UNGEHEUER, etc. It's all good to me :fullofwin:

RiceIntegraRS 04-13-2011 11:18 AM

The only good thing watching the game in a packed bar is the atmosphere. Other than that i hate standing or sitting on the floor and getting a sore neck. Id rather watch it at someones place where i can hear and see the game clearly

I can never focus/pay attention to the game when watching outside of home, I gotta be alone at home to really get into the game.

at the art gallery
there was a long lineup but if you had a jersey on you didn't have to line up :fullofwin:

edit i mean the long lineup was for towel OR toque. People with jerseys can grab items without having to line up. Scarves were also only for people with jerseys on.

Ch28 04-13-2011 12:10 PM

Best part about working in an office during the playoffs?

Wearing a jersey everyday and not having to worry about what to wear :mamoru:

belka 04-13-2011 12:13 PM

Can you watch this on CBC, regardless of what country you are in? Currently stuck in Iceland for work for the next few weeks.

TOS'd 04-13-2011 12:33 PM

^ you can always stream it on justin.tv or whatnot.

Greenstoner 04-13-2011 12:55 PM

He didn't get called up during regular season because of salary cap reasons. Hodgson is probably up for experience.

A better candidate than who?

We are missing a third line center and so why not use our most promising prospect?
