Great game. Louie stepped up and beast moded for us.
What's more telling is how Chicago rode their top players (Toews and Kane both played more than 23 minutes which is massive for forwards) while the Canucks played the same way they have all year...distributing minutes mostly evenly. The fourth line had a great game.
That's a really important point. If it continues, I think it will become a factor if the series goes long. Fatigue + speed players on the Canucks (Kes, Hansen, Raymond) will lead to offensive opportunities.
The Sedins didn't play too well, or too much -- I mostly saw them running around in the defensive zone, aside from a few rush chances. Hopefully they'll be able to step it up.
Yeah, we held back a bit in the third... and still managed to keep the Hawks down even though they were throwing everything at us.
I like this, because it means we're better-rested for next game. If they keep riding Kane and Toews and pushing hard, they're going to tire out sooner. At this rate, their top guys will be burned to a crisp by game 5, just trying to keep up.

Where are all the posters who kept repeating how scary Anaheim is? They're not even gonna get past Nashville. Perry was losing his mind in frustration, even chopped Rinne in the nuts, what a cheap punk.
Perry and his usual punk cheap artist self. Did you see his cheapshot on Rinne? Hit him right in the jewels. I know its only one game but the Hart doesn't belong to superstars who lose their cool after only the first game of the playoffs

sedins will look to bounce back in game 2 to be more effective. a lot of their passes (burr included) weren't crisp like they normally are. also, let's not disregard the play of keith and seabrook. they know the sedins/burrows very well.
Be a better video if that clank with the camera would stop screaming. Actually it would have been epic if someone knocked him unconcious well he was screaming.
