Ya he does. Maybe not a big raise but definitely a raise.

He put up good numbers this year and is young and looks to be living up to the potential they had hoped for. So why wouldn't he get a raise??

Hell, Edler got 3.5 after his 2nd year

NOT saying it's a foregone conclusion Ladd ends up in VanCity, but it's possible. He will be on the move tho. 2 minutes ago via UberTwitter

TSNBobMcKenzie
Vancouver is one of the teams said be most interested, which of course is funny. Ladd is a B.C. boy but had a running battle with Kesler etc 3 minutes ago via UberTwitter

TSNBobMcKenzie
Hawks cap situation is believed to be so tight that they can't make qualifying offer to Andrew Ladd and therefore are shopping him hard.

Tegra_Devil 06-22-2010 06:48 AM

that should put some tension in the dressing room

Meh

You're a professional and you play for the logo on your jersey. Shit talking is just part of the game and if they can't put it behind them then they really need to get their heads checked.

Seeing the type of GM Gillis is, I am sure he would have consulted and made sure there would be little to no conflict in the locker room or anywhere else on this team.

Greenstoner 06-22-2010 08:30 AM

Kysler & Kane = Kysler & Ladd
I'm sure they can work it out somehow if Ladd gets traded to Vancouver .....

But Ladd still looks like a dirty mechanic from Maple Ridge

Scott Niedermayer is expected to formally announce his retirement at an Anaheim Ducks press conference this aft.

FriedmanHNIC
Niedermayer retiring means Selanne will follow, according to Finnish Flash's previous comments

...who?

What you don't remember Rollie the Goalie? haha shit, maybe I'm just old. He was a brutal goalie in the NHL, hopefully he is a better coach.

He's been working with the Canadiens as their goalie coach, he's groomed Jocelyn Thibault, Jose Theodore, Cristobal Huet, Jeff Hackett, Jaro Halak and Carey Price.

murd0c 06-22-2010 10:09 AM

Wow, great trade for Boston.

Gh0stRider 06-22-2010 12:01 PM

Tomas Plekanec is staying with the Montreal Canadiens. The 27-year-old who would have been a coveted free agent on July 1, has agreed to terms on a new contract believed to be worth $30 million over six years. The Czech Republic native had a career-high 70 points last season.

^ Don't be surprised to see him coast now that he's locked himself into a big money contract.
