Is there an FM station that broadcasts the game? When I'm in the car I listen to 1040 but I want to listen to a radio broadcast (in one ear) at the game but don't think I'll get AM reception.
(For future reference): Seems to me they have their own FM broadcast of the play-by-play inside the building... should ask at the Guest Services desk when you're down there, I could't find anything on the website.

It is funny how sports are.. I thought the Canucks had a wayyyy better overall game in game 2 than in game 1. They didn't give up as many chances in game 2 and were all over the hawks even more than they were in game 1, BUT the scoreboard showed that it was a closer game in game 2. Lu let a couple of iffy goals but that happens, the fact that the Canucks (Sedins) stepped it up was very nice to see. Nice to see so many different scorers in the 2 games. Kesler was a Pk machine, and the D overall was stone wall.
Grand Central Bar & Grill at Elements Mall. They opened right at 10 so we were able to catch the game live. I heard about Sideways Driving Club but they don't serve alcohol there?
Kev
They do serve alchohol. Beers were going around all morning. Not sure about other stuff though. It was a pretty cool place to watch. They have like 15 TV's going on in there. Only bad thing is they only had the cable TV feed from Chicago. No CBC
This is one of the things I like about professional sports in general here in North america. If this was in Brazil, the guy would have gotten the shit beaten out of him. I guess it would be the same in Montreal too?

who knows.. he might've been boxed in and gotten his ass served after the game
*did you catch the part where ppl were throwing popcorns at him.. hilarious!
The thing I love about the playoffs is how it doesn't matter who scores. Obviously you want to see your gunners score cuz that's what they have done all year, but the playoffs is diff. It doesn't matter who scores, nobody cares. It's the most team orientated time of year. They just want to win. There are no scoring titles awarded in the playoffs.
This series I wasn't expecting the top line to do a lot of scoring because they will be pretty much line matched with chicagos top line. Leaving the rest of the scoring up to the 2nd and 3rd lines. It was a perfect example in game 1.
Someone posted that 90% winning stat.. another one is, teams who win game 2, regardless of who won game one, have a winning percentage of .700 for the series as well.

Oh nice! Didn't realize that. Would be a worth a visit. But do you know how they will be handling the 6:30AM local time Chicago games?
Unfortunately, Grand City had the same feed. In think they are using ASN to get the game, and hence, using a US Feed.

You, me or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life. But ain't about how hard you hit... It's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward... how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That´s how winning is done. Now, if you know what you worth, go out and get what you worth.” - Rocky Balboa
