yes, it makes sense but the business of the players is to win the cup; NOT extend every series to 7 games to maximize profit. if all they wanted was money, how come we didn't lose a couple of games to st.louis 2 years ago?

i don't know what's going on in the minds of the canucks, but closing the series and getting as much rest as possible is clearly what they would want.

It's like something has changed with the coaching. Canucks aren't imposing their will, they're giving up space on the ice that wasn't there in the games they won. With a 3-0 lead, I'd be psyched to close out the series, but going up 3-0 has had the opposite effect or something.
