i think the canucks need to take burrows statement from the blues series to heart and give their balls a tug because they are playing like a bunch of pussies. that and start schnieder, luongo hes been choking since the anahiem series and ive always kept quiet about it but its getting on my nerves now

Why the fuck did we take Ballard out for Rome? and Why is Samuelsson still playing the point on the first PP unit when we could easily put Edler in with Ehrhoff?
I think Schneider should start next game. He's a young goalie with something to prove whereas Luongo has a fatty contract with a NTC..Hawks have seemed to get into Luongo's head again and this isn't looking good.
I had Canucks in 6 from the start and I'm not a band wagoner but if Nucks lose next game by a blowout, Chicago is taking game 7. Hate to say it.

It's all in their minds now. In the shadows, they have doubts about themselves. Kesler needs to start chipping in offensively and so does Burrows. We can't win with one line and a few fringe players scoring.

I agree, Hawks win the next game and the Canucks are toast. I have faith in this team but sometimes you have to look at the reality of things and right now the Hawks are flying high and the Canucks are nowhere to be found. Nothing is clicking for the Canucks, no one is scoring and our goaltending has gone south.
But that been said, I hope the 2 day break will let the Canucks regroup and I think the best thing that can happen right now is the fact they're playing away and not been surrounded by the media and fans. The Canucks really need to go back to basics, try to get the first goal and get back to playing their game. It's going to be tough because momentum is on the Hawks side right now.

From watching the entire game this is what I see:
Forwards wanting to be in the fucking spotlight when they get it in
- Numerous occasions they KNEW they couldn't get it in, and had a teammate wide in the open, but the nucks just go FUCKK ALL and try to slap it in.
- The lack of a well-executed game plan. All I saw were players in a gaggle, 2-3 at a time on whoever has the puck. Normally when the nucks play (ie: in the 1st and 2nd game), each guy had one check, and they stuck with them.
- Passing, just I don't know wtf is going on, they seemed to miss every single one of them until the last period
- and FFS, if luongo lets 2 in a row, that means he's mentally down. Pull him off and let him have a break. Not keep him on and have schneider sit there and look pretty

I know this will never happen and no I'm not a Lu hater but would you guys start Cory next game if you were AV? We're basically looking at a best of 2 right now, we've let in 12 goals over 2 games so what's the worst that can happen next game? He lets in 2 quick goals, switch him. He might be the boost this team needs.

Sports are a strange thing, once you are totally defeated like the canucks have been the last couple games its hard to get back that motivation by keeping shit the same. I say start Scheider in hopes that the team fucking rallys behind the fact that they dont have Chokester Mcgee starting, and let the Hawks not come in all high and mighty knowing that Lu is going to be shaking in his net at every shot. Say what you want but Lu has chicago demons in his head and he definitely fucks up when things aren't going well.

AV needs to balls up and tell Lu to sit the fuck down. I have always backed Lu and given him the benefit of the doubt since day 1 but not anymore. I have waited for him to be that "elite" goalie everyone made him out to be and for him to convince me, but if you ask me, he has run out of excuses and chances. Time for Schieder to step up and take the reins. But who are we kidding, AV has no balls and certainly has a huge hard on for Lu, and I will not be surprised if AV starts Luongo on sunday.......

yeah... when a game matters this much... some of those goals shouldn't have went in.
I know I said putting Schneider was a dumb move, but I take it back now. I really didn't expect them to piss this game away after the 7-2 loss...
Canucks might as well use their depth in the goaltending department too.
Luongo's confidence probably rock bottomed already... I don't think it matters anymore.
Goalie Coach relationship?? AV's probably gonna get fired if Canucks have a shameful early exit. (and it's probably not even AV's fault)
