Anyways, they still have time to get their shit together so hopefully they get it back on sunday.

DanHibiki 04-21-2011 10:19 PM

our 3rd line was the best line for us tonight.

tiger_handheld 04-21-2011 10:26 PM

do you think AV needs to do anything diff? or just the players need to "SHOW UP"

spideyv2 04-21-2011 10:27 PM

lmfao @ saying none of the goals were Lu's fault. What game were you watching? I suggest hopping off Lu's dink

nah 04-21-2011 10:42 PM

PP looks like shit, all the shots are being blocked.

s300ae 04-21-2011 10:47 PM

im not so worried about who is starting in goal...
im more concerned with the D and more importantly the offense.

WhereTF are the goals? The passes are amateur at best. They let the hawks walk in the zone. The shots are pitiful and gentle passes at Crawford.

Where is the team that had the most goals and least goals scored against with half of Manitobas' team? Where is Kesler's wrist shot? Where is the grinder Burrows?
Killing useless penalties instead of scoring! THATS WHERE!

Am I mad?

If they lose game 6, honestly, they dont deserve to win game 7. Its fine to have one bad game, away from home, but 2? In the playoffs?

Its tearful to watch.

I know I said putting Schneider was a dumb move, but I take it back now. I really didn't expect them to piss this game away after the 7-2 loss...

Canucks might as well use their depth in the goaltending department too.
Luongo's confidence probably rock bottomed already... I don't think it matters anymore.
Goalie Coach relationship?? AV's probably gonna get fired if Canucks have a shameful early exit. (and it's probably not even AV's fault)

its his fault if he doesnt give Schneider the start in the coming games...lol

TouringTeg 04-21-2011 11:00 PM

Disbelief.

I will not be suprised if Schneider gets the start Sunday.

They have got to bounce back. Go Canucks Go!

Unfortunately that's not gonna happen. AV had already said to reporters that Lu will start on Sunday.

I think Lu will lose A LOT of supporters in this city if he melts down again on Sunday... that's on top of the MANY he's already lost after tonight's game.

Our D has been horrendous the last 2 games too, just backing up and letting the Hawks skate in. WTF happened to the way they play? How could they just flip a switch and play so timidly after 3 strong games in a row? No hitting, no checking, just standing around watching.

I'm so pissed right now watching these millionaires play like a bunch of pussies.

Nvasion 04-21-2011 11:07 PM

niemi was god

AzNightmare 04-21-2011 11:09 PM

Yeah, I only saw the highlights today. I had to play a hockey game of my own, so couldn't watch.
I figured it'll be alright, the Canucks can take care of their own shit.

I come back and find out the score's 5-0 blowout.
I'm glad i missed the game or I would have thrown a brick through my TV probably.

AV already said Luongo will play next game

nah 04-21-2011 11:36 PM

They are definitely missing Malhotra now. If Manny was in, it would save Kesler from having to play shutdown C on Toews and be more offensive.

Gh0stRider 04-21-2011 11:38 PM

there were people leaving rogers arena after the first period

PornMaster 04-21-2011 11:43 PM

I wouldn't be that upset if both games were relatively close and we lost.
However both games were MAJOR blowouts

Harvey Specter 04-21-2011 11:47 PM

We could be the Wash. Caps of last season...sad.

Alpine 04-21-2011 11:50 PM

If there's one thing i'm tired of, it's the Canucks new found "Maturity"... talking about trying to stay even-keel, not to get too high or too low after games, that Chicago is a really great team, etc.

Toews took a lot of heat from Vancouver fans & media for saying what he said after game 3 but that's EXACTLY what the Canucks need. They need someone to step up and say that they're giving too much credit to the Hawks, that the Canucks are the better team and that that the Hawks are not the same team they once were. In my opinion, what Toews said after game 3 was Yzerman-like... and even though he's not doing it by scoring goals, it almost seems like he's willing the team to win since he absolutely refuses to concede anything. That's what I call a leader.

dachinesedude 04-21-2011 11:50 PM

^^more like the Bruins against the Flyers last year

Oh and for all the people that have been saying that only 3 teams ever have come back from a 3-0 deficit, there's an article on tsn that states that Chicago has been down 3-0 in a series 18 times before, and they have never been able to extend the series to 6 games, until now :)

I'm not a bandwagoner but if we weren't getting blown out I would have way more confidence in this team... but back to back blowouts is inexcusable in a 7 game series. If we lose by 1 to 3 goals in a hard fought game, that's acceptable... but to lose 2 games in a row the way we have... I don't know what to say. I Just hope this 2 day break is what the doctor ordered.

Harvey Specter 04-22-2011 12:06 AM

On the topic of choking...the Habs should have won last night. They blew like 4 leads and the goal in OT was weak.

DanHibiki 04-22-2011 12:07 AM

I'm gonna do my best to avoid anything Canuck for the next few days.

Just thinking about them stresses me out.

Harvey Specter 04-22-2011 12:12 AM

Well put it this way, we won 3 in a row and the Hawks looked done but all of a sudden the Hawks caught on fire in game 4 and made it into a series again. Same thing can happen to the Canucks, score the first goal on Sunday and mark my words it'll be a way different game. Now the million dollar question until puck drop on Sunday is which team will show up to play, will itbe the team that's allowed 12 goals in 2 games or the team we watched in the first 3 wins.

b0unce. [?] 04-22-2011 12:34 AM

They are going to play Lu next game. Most disappointing thing is, throughout this whole series, burrows, kesler, and raymond have been way too quiet. You can argue that Kesler is playing shutdown, but still, we've had PP chances where our regular season scorers should have capitalized.
