Wow I'm still mad after a night's sleep... like everyone else's been saying, it's not that we lost, but it's how we lost. TWO complete blowouts back-to-back and no sign of any effort on fighting back... that's what worries me and what pisses me off. Our leadership group as well as our coaching staff have to be questioned on their ability to lead, guide, and inspire. AV will be fired if this team is out in the first round. |
i had bad sleep last night. woke up at 5am with some chest pain. Spent $10 on Team Fortress 2 to release some of my anger. Went to back to sleep after I bought it. |
I can seeing everyone getting mad and pissed if we lose the series; but we haven't lost anything yet. Yeah, our last two games sucked donkey balls; but so what? All will be forgiven if we win one of the next two games. And it doesn't matter how we win it either - whether the winning goal goes off someone's butt or a big slapper to the top corner in triple OT. A series win is all that matters at this point. Doesn't matter if that is game 6 of game 7. Who gives a shit how we get there! |

It's true that a lot of us aren't professional athletes and probably can't relate to what the Canucks players are going through right now, but I think it's fair to say that not ONE of us can understand how the whole team and just pack it in, after 3 games of decent effort? How could that even happened? |
thats the million dollar question the thing is, yea the series is not over, but sports are 95% mental and right now, hawks are fucking with our heads big time |

the thing is even if the Canucks pull through and win in game 6 or 7, that aura they had is gone, of course whether that actually matters is subjective since every new round starts 0-0 but after 3 games I think the general consensus was it was Canucks world they had that swagger, the aura of a winner. Of course you never know with a convincing win it could all come back but I think the damage has been done even if they pull it off imo. |

A series along with a playoff run can change with one game...so if they were to pull out this series...doesn't mean shit either way....regardless of if they win in 4 games or 7... thats my opinion at least. |

Fuck i had to drink double the amount of alcohol so i could forget that Game 5 ever happened. We know exactly how Chicago is gonna play the next coming game so that should give us an edge in the game cause now we can plan a strategy for it. Im hoping they put Tambelini in, our record is awesome with him in the lineup and any type of mental boost for the Canucks is what we really need. |

I have dish network so I have access to ESPN and I was watching some show with a panel of 4 and two of the guys said the Hawks are still going to lose the series. Their reason was the Canucks are feeling the pressure of been a Canadian team and basically stop playing their game. Lets see what happens on Sunday. |
Luongo has been a fucking beast all season long, sad to see a bunch of turds turn their back on him so quickly. He definitely should've had the first one last night, but the rest were a group effort... or lack thereof. The whole team shit the bed big time, 2 games in a row. There are no scapegoats on a hockey team. Chicago is riding a ton of momentum and now we're in their building. I'm still confident we'll take the series, but.... FUCK. |
