I have no problem with a flames thread, to be honest. I do have a problem with people abusing the fail button, as do most of the moderator team. People have been cautioned numerous times against going religiously stupid with hitting the fail button.
My roommate during the course of the school year is from Lethbridge, and is a diehard Flames fan. I'm a Canucks fan. Do we get along? Just fine. He's probably the best roommate I've ever had. Hell, Girl and I even sent him and Saucywoman to the last regular season game this year, which saw the Canucks thrash the Flames with 7 goals. Did they have fun? Definitely! Did I have any problem with the Flames? Nope! CAUSE THEY LOST! 
Consider it a final caution to people abusing the fail button before measures are taken.
