lol@ctv with the asian guy protecting the white reporter
Was it CTV or CBC because I seen a CBC reporter been protected by a shaved head Asian dude with gloves, lol. He didn't even look that big.
And it looks like the protesters have calmed down and "normal" people are starting shit up, they showed some cop car been set on fire by what CBC described as some "thugs" and "hooligans"
Just great that these fucking assholes from other countries come to Canada to destroy/burn property wasting even more of than the tax money already spent on the G20 drinking club conference....
Currently, the Heads of state of G-20 nations meet semi-annually at G-20 summits. The G-20 summits for 2010 is being held in Toronto on June 26–27 and Seoul on November 11–12. The Toronto summit has attained international notoriety for being interrupted by a splinter group of retail mall worker teenagers who identify themselves as the Black Bloc. Most of the Black Block members sport a traditional Justin Bieber style haircut which can be prominently viewed beneath their American Apparel ski-masks. Upon conclusion of the Summit, most of the Black Bloc members will return to their summer jobs at the mall, or cutting grass. Starting in 2011, G-20 Heads of State summits are scheduled to be annual.[2]
Got to admit G20 summit is fucking expensive, you'd think a meeting regarding different economies would take into account how much they're spending and what their spending is going on.

The police and protesters are strange bedfellows: when the protesters up the ante, budgets for security get increased and the protesters continue to get the attention they seek.
What I get a kick out of is that the majority of the protesters are from privileged backgrounds (i.e. white, middle-class kids) who think they know what's best for those whom they supposedly speak for (the impoverished, Palestine, discriminated minorities, etc.)
Those black bloc fags are a bunch of fucken granolas stirring shit. They're supposedly targeting "big name" companies like starbucks, AA, but I'm pretty sure these are the same fags that buy shit from AA and spend their day at starbucks, complaining about life.

Well it's the fringe on the very far left that really fucks things up. There basically domestic terrorist like how you have far right anti-Government groups which are also domestic terrorist.
That been said tho, there are some groups on the left that I don't mind like the anti-fascist movement in the EU that goes up against neo-Nazis and there's also people in groups you see at the G8/G20 who just want to express their opinions without resorting to violence. It only takes a few to fuck things up.
So... I was there, and it was one of the craziest things I've ever witnessed. It was very peaceful in the beginning but shit hit the fan when the black-masked group turned back and marched towards the financial district.
These were all from Saturday when the police was more restrained and kinda "let" the protesters have their way around the city blocks.

I was by King & Bay when that first cop car was set on fire, but I left to go eat at Craft Burger (seriously good burger btw).
I regret not sticking around to get some pictures of the anarchy and chaos but I hadn't eaten at all since I woke up so I was super hungry....walking around for blocks didn't help either.
Absolutely the craziest thing I have ever seen..the protesters, the sheer number of cops that were there as well.
I really don't understand why people who are nonviolent protestors would walk up to cops just for shits and giggles. Yes, this is a free and democratic state, but you don't tease a dog on a leash, why would you tease a cop?
