The one I went to at Westwood.. their sign was 12:00AM - 12:00PM. I told them that's not 24 hours.. they said it is till noon.. I guess that's how they get around the last tax free day of the year thing.

If it ended at noon, the signs would read either noon or 11:59 am. The sign I saw last night read, "Midnight to 11:59 pm."

Manager at the store needs to go back to school. Or, someone's messing with the manager's mind. Tell 'em April 1st is still a few months away.

all locations except Alberta (AB) and WH (Whitehorse?)........ probably because Alberta has no tax anyway. They usually get double GST off, but not this time, I guess.

Saw this thread this morning and me and the wife decided to see what kinda savings we could get our hands on. Ended up saving a decent amount on tax and got two $25 gift cars because we spent a little over $500.

^ that's the way to do it. The $25.00 thing is such a bonus. Unfortunately I don't come close to spending that much.

You go into store and they have hundreds of coupons on the wall where the rest of the coupons are. If they don't, you go up to customer service and they will give you one.

All locations in BC. When they have these things, it's province-wide.

There's a thread on RFD talking about some RCSS having no tax this weekend.

Has anyone popped into any Vancouver RCSS to see if there is also no tax for us?

nothing online about it, the poster claims it's "in store" only but we don't know which location

UPDATE: I called RCSS King George location in Surrey, they know nothing about the no tax event, the person said it's probably in the east which makes sense because the OP who made the thread on red flags is in the east. Doesn't look like it's here in the west, we'll probably get one soon.
