Looking to buy Bmw E46 or S2000

I've been wanting a m3 for a while now.. found one that i liked 03 bmw m3 with 114xxx km.. Im just worried about the problems with these cars.. Anyone know the common problems with these cars and around how much they would cost to fix.. Im also looking at s2000's which are cheaper to maintain. But i'd rather have a m3. Also, does anyone know how much maintainence usually is for m3s? thanks

well its a bmw so be ready to pay before you buy it get it inspected and see if theres anything wrong. Make sure its a 2003.5 a build date after may 2003. The end of the year production comes with led tailights, oem strut tower brace and better engine quality. Thats what i heard from a friend.
