Watched this like 20 times and gave me an idea. Drifting is hella sweet. But the way they have competitions is lame. I had an idea... They should combine time attack with drifting. Have a timed run with the most slip angle at a track. Slip angle could be measured by the sensors and timing is easy. That way the driver has to lap as fast as he can, but add in the slip angle. - More points for slip angle - More points for length of slid - Points deducted for going over a given time Very rough right now... needs refinement. |
