Tax return being reviewed

So it turns out that the tax return that my mom filed with h&r block is being reviewed by the CRA. She had already received her cash tax return.
Just got a letter in the mail saying that they need:
1)proof of tuition and education amount transferred from a child(my tax credits that i transferred to her)
2) proof of charitable donations and government gifts

The shitty thing is that both numbers are off. By a lot. The T2202 and donations forms that we have aren't even close to the numbers that were filed. Are we/my mom fucked? Do we just tell them that we fucked up? How would we go about doing this? The letter says nothing about correcting a screw up. Only how to prove the supposed numbers on the tax sheet.

This is what the letter says:
Please sends us the info requested w/i 30 days. ... If we d/n receive a reply, we will disallow the amounts under review , which may mean that you will have a balance owing.

Thanks in advance

if u got it done at HR block , take the letter back to them , and let them deal with it. They are really good at it -- they screw up a lot of returns for alot of people.

if you want to deal on your own, send a copy of tuition credits transfered, and donations slips u included in ur T1 return. Write them a very appologetic letter, saying how you got ur taxes done, include the office , and details of HR block if you can (HR block needs to get their act together ). Once they adj. your return u will have to return some of their money back including including a bit interest and penalties (for doing it wrong ) pay it off asap!

then take he fine (penalties + interst) to hr block ,and demand u r money back and never go to them again. find ur self a better accontant.

its nothing to worry about - it happens to the best of us. one of my clients had a review done for his bus passes lived in vancouver for 1/2 yr then moved , n worked in surrey .. so his transit credit was a bit off if you do a reasonableness test.
