What blackberry apps can't you live without? Hey all, I'm a smartphone newb. My work just upgraded me to a Curve 8530 (I would never have gotten one for myself), and I want to load it up with some useful programs. What are some killer apps for the blackberry? Software you use everyday, and find very useful? One useful program I found is called "autolock" and automatically locks the keypad an adjustable amount of time after the display turns off. |

Poynt for looking up businesses, restaurants, etc. Opera Mini to replace the native browser. Google Maps (duh) Viigo for browsing RSS feeds. Podtrapper for downloading/listening to podcasts Or course you have your IM clients, twitter, facebook etc. that you can install on there as required. Blackberry App world is a good place to start. Download it onto your phone and you can have a good look at what is available to you. |
^I found that opera mini doesnt scroll as nicely. I've honestly never had a problem with the native browser |
