| What blackberry apps can't you live without?
Hey all,
I'm a smartphone newb. My work just upgraded me to a Curve 8530 (I would never have gotten one for myself), and I want to load it up with some useful programs.
What are some killer apps for the blackberry? Software you use everyday, and find very useful?
One useful program I found is called "autolock" and automatically locks the keypad an adjustable amount of time after the display turns off.

Poynt for looking up businesses, restaurants, etc.
Opera Mini to replace the native browser.
Google Maps (duh)
Viigo for browsing RSS feeds.
Podtrapper for downloading/listening to podcasts
Or course you have your IM clients, twitter, facebook etc. that you can install on there as required.
Blackberry App world is a good place to start. Download it onto your phone and you can have a good look at what is available to you.

^I found that opera mini doesnt scroll as nicely. I've honestly never had a problem with the native browser
