HST on bill
I got my recent bill from fido, i got charged GST, HST, AND PST. wtf
So instead of 1 HST, i got billed 3 taxes? thats double the tax

GST $1.41
HST $5.40
PST $1.98


anyone else getting this on their bill?

it's prorated since hst commenced july 1st. for your aug bill, you will only see hst

Or think of it this way.

all thsoe 3 combined is $8.79 . then divide that amount by 12 %

is the answer your bill cost before taxes?

should 73.25


edit: Just wanted to fix this, but tacobell(above) and mizter (below) got it right.

^^ close, it was 73. so for this 1 month i have to pay extra tax? im having a brain fart lol.

They're charging GST/PST for the services prior to July 1st and HST after July 1st. I had the same thing on my other bills. I think my bill was from early June to early July so I was billed some HST for the services during July.
