people should be responsible for their own actions - they decided to race and they died.
Luckily no one else was hurt. Did the passenger had a say in the race? No one knows.
"In Langley, a man was killed while walking along Glover Road near Mufford Crescent -- an industrial area. The victim was in his late 40s and the vehicle involved remained at the scene" http://www.news1130.com/news/local/a...parate-crashes
Uhm... Langley is a bit of a distance from Mission. I don't think this guy was hit hard enough to fly many km's to land in Langley.
Was going to point out the fact that the two incidents were unrelated (it even says so in the article), but it looks like Lomac beat me to it.

I agree no one deserves to die, but can you imagine if instead of crashing, they ran over your friend? girlfriend? child even? and the race cost one of their lives instead? i can only say its better that the race took the lives of those involved rather than someone elses
No I got ya bud, forsure.
but the circumstances here is it didn't happen.
But for everyonesaying fuck good riddance, they deserve to die is fucking inhumane. Fucking didn't learn the basic and appreciation of human life, ain't some fucking joke.
From what we know of the story is they did a very bad thing and eat the dust.
One mistake shouldn't define who you are. This could be easily a great friend/father/husband who obviously has a love for cars and speed and I can relate, made a bad decision and ended his life.
But who the fuck can tell me you never did 180+ anywhere beside a track, fucking BS, your first fucking car you probably tried to get that beaterass 89 civic as topspeed as possible.
UNFORTUNATELY you fuckers didnt hit the median by some unknown X factor.
Because if you did the media will say you went 220+ street racing and ill laugh at you cause you died and eat the curb.
