Awesome video, I loved the Ayrton Senna voice over in it as it remind people of the pedigree of this car. Most people believe this Honda have none but it have more than many other sports car out there. A culmination of Honda's F1 golden era technology, vision of Soichiro Honda, influence of one the greatest drivers Ayrton Senna, benchmark for Gordon Murray in the design of the McLaren F1, pioneer of various technologies... etc. NSX is a special car that is only understood by people who know what it is.

Wow what a difference in content and quality. The sneezing econoboxes and nonstop jumping of the video made me sick. Glad they improved the style when they made the nsx vid. Quote:

just cant believe how stupid some ppl can be
nsx r corners faster than a lambo, m3, R34, yet along a supra
i posted the vids many many times.
the nsx R vs regular nsx is a night and day difference.
older nsx runs mid 13s....yes....nsx R is capable running 12.7 on street tires
fucking learn how to read.
oh well, carry on

I love the NSX and always will. I still remember the first time seeing one at the autoshow as a kid not knowing much about cars but their names.
While the other kids were talking about how cool the ferrari's and lamborghini's they saw were, I was all about the NSX.

You couldn't buy NSX-R's or Zenardi editions in Canada. The only thing you could do is mod them yourself to the exact specs of those special edition NSX's. Unless the person has money to burn you don't usually see owners modding them. Unless your in younger crowd and want to show off or win Car shows.
I could make a Honda civic fast if I modded it or any car for that matter.

glad to have finally watch the full version....
it will be strange to see these cars with collector plates on them soon....that timeless design would seem strange with those plates on it
speaking of NSX's, has anyone heard the rumour about how from 2002-2005, honda had been tweeking their C32B and pushing more WHP each year, yet still claiming the base 290hp

It dosnt make any sense when they update an engine and it still make identical figures. A particular 2002+ NA2 Type R engine was dyno by Procar Germany with around 338hp. I wouldn't hesitate to put the Type R at around 340hp. Think of it this way, BMW made 360hp out of a 3.2L Inline 6 in the M3 CSL, it only make sense that Honda can do the same out of a 3.2L V6. Lastly, look at the time for NSX-R. They run around 12.6 - 12.8 quarter mile, calculate the weight and various other factor and you can probably figure out the HP being put out. Keep in mind the Type R Engine is full balanced and blueprinted to about 10x the component accuracy.
If someone can calculate it:
Weight: 2800lb
Quarter Mile: 12.7s
Trap Speed: 190km/118mph
I used a simple internet calculator and it gave me 339hp

What Gordon Murray really wanted to put in the McLaren F1 was Honda's 4.5L V10 or V12...but Honda declined 3 times to produce the engine for McLaren F1.
I heard that Honda declined to build engine for Lotus Exige or Esprit.
I really don't understand why, wouldn't it be honorable for Honda to build engine for McLaren and Lotus? I mean they're both high class car manufactures. Can't believe Honda ditched them.

but this was hondas first big mistake, in a long line of many after it!
i still have hope that they can produce something that will reinforce my love for them!

I'll bet that Honda wanted to build it, but they said they didn't have the capacity to build the engine. That said, the BMW engine in the F1 is an absolute gem as well.
