having use software unlocked iphone since 2g. i would say thats sound logic. i opt for the factory unlock on this time around

actualy 1 isn't really possible. most country doesn't have microsim car for pay as go. so you either have to bring a sim cutter with you when you travel or learn to do it yourself (i just did its not as hard as it seems)

I can't believe I'm up at this hour and actually going to line up now. This better be worth it!!

As for reselling the phone, there are too much supply in Vancouver. I am seeing 3G 8gb selling for $150.

Same thing will happen to the iphone 4s when the 5s come out.

when you go and lineup at 6am / early morning before opening, how do you even know if they have enough stock? LOL

if im correct, some people can be lining up in the morning, then realizing 2-3 hours later when the store opens that there isnt enough for you who have been waiting?? hahahaha...or is there a person that actually tells you that the first XX will be guaranteed one

OUCH, time to start drinking

What was fucking stupid was that they didn't hand out tickets and wouldn't tell anyone how many they had. I got there at 7 which according to this weekly trend was plenty of time. They had the staff come out at 830 telling everyone they were still counting stock (promising news if it takes them a long time). 1015ish rolls around and they announce no 32's are left. 1020 hits and they announce they only had 50 phones. Are u kidding me? It took you over 2 hours to count 50 phones? Not to mention ppl could have just left and not have wasted their time. I made it out of the hallway too and joined the centre maze line up and was maybe 20-30 ppl away from cut off.

Ug..I mustve been one or two guys in front of you..the 32s cut out right in front of me which sucks because that is what I really wanted but I guess I'll just live with it
