Wierd. I'm not sure what the deal is with my iphone 2g but I was able to downgrade from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 no problem.

I should clarified. You can downgrade on a iPhone 3G and earlier iphone and ipod touches no problem. But with the 3GS and iPhone4, you need to back up your shsh if you don't want to use the newest software from apple. ok dude..I'm gonna be there at 3am LOL..just cos I'd rather go home at 10am than at 2pm in the afternoon haha...

cos if you go there at 6ish and you do get a phone..by the time its ur turn..it'll be like 2pm.. (and yes i actually counted..I was approx the 100th guy in line today)

Yes you can and once you get a ticket, they will start pulling people out of line who wants to buy it straight up. If you are in the top 50 to line up, depending on how many people wants to buy unlock, you can get your phone by 10:15am.

Don't think too long. Last Thursday I was thinking about it for an hour before I went to bed and decided to go line up instead and made it there at 7:45am (rush hour traffic) and just made the cut off by 10 people. Got a 32gb for myself and another one for a buddy. Good thing I decided not to stop by McDonalds for some breakfast otherwise I would have missed the cut :woot:

can you do a hardware upgrade at the apple store? i.e buy the phone for $159? or do you have to go to rogers for that?
