LOL this is getting ridiculous. Lining up at 11pm and 2am 2 weeks after launch? Even worse for the people who leave empty-handed hahah.

Guess there's just too much of a gotta have it now mentality these days... line ups for games, lineups for phones.

Done with lining up ... i just ordered my phone from apple.ca~ darn! wasted all these time.. lined up on launch day at oakridge was a total mistake! and money spend on transportation and parking at pc....

apple.ca does not even include a free sim....

Holy shieeet and I thought I waited long on launch day lining up at 9am.......

You must of went really late on launch day. IMO launch day was the easiest to line up 4. Must of been like 1000 unit

I lined up early in the morning at oakridge. but they are out of phone at like 1 or 2~ and I couldn't go down to PC at that time anymore..

Any news on shipments to carriers yet?

a guy from another forum is saying apple @ pc received another shipement shortly after they sent most ppl home...

I dunno why most of you guys are lining up. iPhone 4 can be unlocked, and there are the occasional people selling on craigslist for 750-800 for 16gb. They retail 740ish after tax anyways. All that time waiting in line when you could of been working a full day shift or however amount of time you waited in line, IF people worked those days, they could of just paid the marked up price of the phones.

I personally waited, and lurked craigslist and picked up a fido locked one for 750, unlocked it and all set

i got 120 profit off my iphone. worth waiting 5 hours

^cos I'm 3 months into my new contract after I got my x10 in april and getting it for $159 with rogers is a much better deal than $750

Software unlocked is never as good as factory unlocked. Factory unlock also have a higher resale value so some people would rather wait in line and pay $740 for a factory unlocked version then pay $750 for a Fido locked version. The person you bought the phone from probably went back and got themselves a factory unlocked version and made $11

understandable, value wise you'd get more for "true" unlocked ones. But i really don't see any difference between factory unlocked and software unlocked. Yeah maybe the guy did make 11$...but he had to wait in line a few hours...thats a probably a couple dollar an hour. All that work for that little? when he could of just worked...even mcdonalds would of gotten you wAAAYYYYY more

Opps, actually he made more then that, at least $570 since he got it under contract. But probably spent it all on an unlocked version :inout:

When you buy it of craigslist, there is a information problem. What if your $700 phones breaks after 1 week of use? Then you are pretty much SOL.

What information problem? Doesnt all iphones have a 1 year manufacturer warrenty? Can't you just bring it into the apple store and get it fixed?
