That's strange because usually you need to provide a receipt (or a copy of a receipt) in order to get any service. This is to prevent stolen items and water items. Maybe Apple has different policies.

Are Warranties also transferable?

i don't know about extended warranties...

but apple will provide service on their products regardless... i believe its a global policy too

but basically as long as its an apple product and its not super old, they'll provide free service within warranty period and paid service out of that..

I am planning on getting my iphone 3gs fixed. My vibration switch is not working so my phone does not vibrate. I looked it up and they said they will replace phone if still under warrenty. I wonder if they can give me a iphone 4 if I add cash lol. worth a try.

no they'll send you a refurb 3GS... i'e had my phone replaced 4 times now for the broken vibrate switch... this time i;ll just sell the 3G and get the 4

not ever going to go line up again since what happened yesterday.

went at 4:00 ish and was about 50-60 in line. The lady behind me was an iCrackhead. I joke you not, for the next 4 hours she wouldn't stop telling her boyfriend how much she needs the iPhone. She actually kept saying "I NEED MY IPHONE I NEED MY IPHONE LET ME JUST GIVE YOU MY MONEY". Than her and her BF took turns calling Rogers to see if they can get a better plan, and both failing. Funny part? This was her fourth day camping out... Oh, and she hasn't even jailbroken her phone ... Her BF told her not to do it, because it's "kinda bad for your phone". They were also discussing going the next day at 11pm instead. Needless to say, neither of us got a phone. But I definitely don't need a phone as bad as she does, and I would shoot myself in the head if I ever need to sit next to another iCrackhead again for four hours.

I hope you called in/went to a retailer to confirm first because the website tool is inaccurate.

I called a few stores (BB/FS/Wireless/Fido) around Langley store to confirm they indeed receive some around lunch time but they were all gone.

Hey buddy, that's me! So lucky, just walked in and they had a fairly large shipment and no one knew. I got a 32 gig, call some friends, they got some, went back to work to tell some co-workers and 3 more people ended up getting 16 gig phones. +1 for the sales manager (Ivan) at the wireless wave!!!!!!!! Awsome guy and great help.
