Just curious to what retention plans you guys recieved when you purchased the iphone?

cityfido classic, unlimited texts messaging, vvm, 6gb data - 65 for 6 months and then 70 for 2.5 years... through fido

hmm... 70 is out of my budget for a data plan. Only reason I want the iphone4 is the camera and video since I don't own a seperate camera. This is just a cheaper alternative for me =).

yes a big apple truck came in the mall this morning at oakridge. That's what the guy said on another forum. Amazingly it has a big led display on the side said 30 unit. I guess this is apple's new inventory notification system

well mine came at 2pm today but nobody was home... rerouted to work for tomorrow... SAWEEET!!!

fuck every single rogers store and wireless wave i go to they tell me they *just* sold out... i also had a guy at the wireless wave kiosk in metro bullshitting me how they cant do upgrades there if you already have an iphone data plan... i was like do you guys have iphone 4 or not, he was like we can get you one if youre gonna sign up for a new plan, not upgrade... i talked to some people, they say that their comission on new plans is around $250 compared to $40 from upgrades, so they hold the iphones for people who are getting new plans... what a joke

I dealt with the same BS from the same Wireless Wave Kiosk in Metro. I spoke to a guy by the name of Nick who gave me the same crap. I pretty much just decided to wait a couple of weeks before I start looking again. Finding one in town seems impossible right now.

if you are sure they have it in stock and they refuse to give it to you coz u are doing upgrade. just call the customer service for ur provider on the spot and explain the situation. yes it works

I got a pretty crappy plan but was so excited that I was getting the iPhone that I didn't bother trying to get a better plan

they don't, but ususally they do pretty much everyday. sometimes you get unlucky than you dont get any.

So is fido stacking or is it an exception for the iphone?

if you go for the 250 discount (400) for the phone the contract doesn't stack

I heard from someone else in line that has friends lined up at pacific centre. Apparently it's at least 50 ppl deep already. Maybe I'm camping out at the wrong store and ppl have insider info I don't know about lol.
