called at 4:50pm, wait time was 15min, but waited til like 5:35-ish then I asked to cancel my account then wanted to talk to retentions to see, the guy tells me to wait then after 5min he comes back telling me retentions can't talk to me cause the servers are down then I told him that I wanted the iPhone 4 and know that they restocked, tells me to wait another 5min then someone from retentions talked to me and told me she can help me HUP to iPhone 4 :)

But too bad I have to return it cause I changed my mind and wanted a 32gb instead now :( :(

Ya. The battery replacement itself was successful. But when I put the case back on it, the top part wasn't completely flush and so there's like a slight "crack" in it. So I took it off again and tried to make it fit perfectly and next thing you know...MY SOUND DOESN'T WORK :(

So the phone works fine but no external speakers.

Totally regretted it haha.

What sucks is the new battery isn't much better.

Even tho I'm getting a new iPhone I wanted this thing to be working fine as well, hence why I tried replacing the battery.

Anyone know when Rogers will have it in stock? Or if I can just go into an Apple store and get a HUP for my Rogers account?

you can just go to the apple store and do a HUP, IF they have stock. if you read the threads, most stores and jampacked by the time the stores open

Woke up early this morning and decided to try my luck at oakridge, was there about 10mins after opening. There was a line of about 30++ ppl ahead of me, took 1.5hrs to get my phone.

So glad I did not craigs it or order online.

note: seems like if you are doing upgrades or not buying the phone outright you get jammed for a LONG time as people tend to spend 15-30mins asking all sorts of questions heh.

What do you use to check on the UPS site? The lady on retentions told me the tracking number was my phone number but nothing shows up

Go to ups.ca > Tracking > Tracking shipment > Look to the left and press Track by reference > Type in your area code + 7 digit phone number in the Shipment Reference box

If it says there's more than 1 package then scroll down to shipment destination and choose Canada.

Use this time to pick up a microsim from the Apple store.
