YES! Just called retentions and picked up 2 phones one for myself and one for sister. so happy! ROGERS retention ftw!

fucking apples!!!BULLSHIET iwas inline for the iphone and they say they don't have it at both location early in the morning and none have it!!. I just check craigslist someguy bought 1 and got it at 12:20pm wtf!!

so when they are mailing me the phone, does it have a micro-sim with my number on it already? or is there just a sim card i need to phone in to activate?

Apple doesn't provide a micro-sim in the box. Go to an Apple store with your receipt and they'll give you one free of charge, at least they should.

the problem i had with bbm data was i couldnt get data to work on any other phone unless i used wap..even if it was a smartphone like the x10...so i switched to smartphone data instead

fido shipped my phone with micro-sim. only need to go online to fido.ca and you can activate yourself instantly

Got my e-mail yesterday that my two iPhones have shipped. Not bad, only 3 days from when I called to complain. Much better than running from store to store hoping someone has stock.

Yeah...but only for a bit...I'm planning on keeping the iphone for a few months and then selling it...just want something new to play around with...I'm pretty sure i'll get bored of it fairly quickly like I did the iphone 3g...

called in fido retentions yesterday, they had the 16gb in stock when I called to confirm, but were out 5 minutes later by the time the rep finished processing everything haha.

Anyone line up at the Apple store @ PC or Oakridge? How was it?

With the amount of times retentions has had phones is it really worth lining up?

Haven't got my email yet confirming my shipment, only goes through on business days?

^ I think most people are lining up for the Apple Unlocked ones not the provider locked ones

Also, do try to track it on ups even if you don't have a confirmation email on shipment
Just use your 10 digit cell phone number in the UPS Track by reference

Called Fido and they didn't have anything available.

Retention did let me change up my plan though to a newer retention plan without having to renew my contract. Paying about $20 less now.
