then it would have to be your dad that has to call in to talk to fido retention, unless he makes you an authorized user to make changes.

Me: "Hey, I'd like to pay less per month without renewing my contract but I'd like you guys to throw in a few more minutes and stuff too."

Fido Guy: "Sure. How about I do up a new plan where you get exactly the same thing, 200 more daytime minutes and you pay $20 less each month?"

Me: "Alright, sounds good."

How often do they let you add it for free(if say..you're originally using an iPhone then changed to a Blackberry)?

i was just with rogers csr yesterday talking about my data plan. i told the csr that i was planning to switch over to the iphone but not sure if i will be switching back to the BB. i told her if she can add the APN code on there and she said that she was told not to add that code onto any data plans anymore.

my guess is that you will have to keep calling back and take your chances on a csr that will apply it for you.

its always been free..but just depends on luck if they are willing to add it for you..

worst comes to worst you just switch data plans every so often and piss them off enough to add it on for you

called retentions today. asked about the plans i negotiated last week for my iphone and bb line. asked them if they can add the code on my berry plan since i have a 6GB on it and they did it no probs

So I called retention's to try and score a iPhone but I didn't get it. I still have 14 months remaining on my plan and I tried to sweet talk the rep and it worked but after a 5 min wait he comes back and says "sorry, but we sold out and can't ship one to you." I wasn't too happy but he did lower my bill by $30/month which was worth the call, lol.

^... 30/month is 360 A YEAR! thats a phone in itself. i think it's definitely worth the call haha :P
