Apple is giving out Microsims for each carrier for free..just go to the apple store and ask..

Just a reminder

Richmond Centre Apple Store is opening this Saturday (9/11) at 930am
so if you are looking for iPhone 4, they'll most likely have the most stock that day
or you can go line up at other stores since the opening will probably attract many people there.

did you get one? i got mine last week. I went to pacific centre at about 8... just strolled in before work and came back at 10 and got it from the rogers plus store. just got lucky. Came down at 930 asked if he had any he said yea i have some. and got it at 10.

I know Oakridge didn't get any stock, did Pacific Centre get any?

microsim came in the mail today too..so they're not backordered at rogers anymore

I just got the email today as well. I also ordered last friday.

Was at Oakridge, didn't get any. Went to Brentwood and lined up outside Fido store. They got 4 so I FUCKING FINALLY GOT MINE.

my friend lined up at roger's and wasn't as lucky.

me and a friend are lining up tonight at PC.
i hope it is worth it. im going to work after too!! lol

Well I just bought an iphone from the fido store today and when I got home I also got a shipping confirmation for the iphone from 8/27.

WTF?!?!?!

Am I getting 2 phones???

So do oakridge apple store stock iphones everyday?

I wasn't. Retentions fucked up my order then told me nothing they could do about it.

Here I posted this on Hofo with more detail.

So I ordered my phone on the 25th thru retentions. The guy ****ed up apparently when I didn't get a confirmation the next day. I call back, they said there's a 3yr agreement but no evidence of ordering an iphone. The guy said he'll contact that person who ****ed up and have him call me in 24hrs.

No call back...so I gave them another call. Got a nice lady who filed a complaint against that guy, reverse the agreement and put me on her "personal callback list" for when they get more phones.

Sometimes next week...I check my account online and the 3year agreement is STILL there. SO I call back ONCE AGAIN to get that fixed, negotiated a new deal that I will accept once i find an iphone.

TODAY...I went to the Fido store at Brentwood and picked up an iphone. I told the lady I had a plan worked out with retentions and so she called them and they tried to get everything place correctly and I get the plan I wanted and the properly discount price.

It took a while and there was a lot of back and forth between the two so I called back an hour after I left the store to confirm everything was ok. The guy said that the plan is there but they charged me for the full retail price instead of the 159 discount price. He fixed that, gave me a confirmation and case #. All is good.

I get home, check my email....

O_o So apparently I was put on their back order all along yet none of the CSR saw this?

So what does this mean. Am I gonna get 2 phones?? Will they charge me for both? Am I in some lucky situation that I get a 2nd one for free?

so what happens if no one is home to accept my phone?

k good, thought they might try a few times then return it to rogers

what time did you line up at the brentwood fido store? any reason why you chose to camp out there lol
