200? holy shit i wonder how many iphones they got must be a huge stock in town since fido/rogers has a few still |
|
I'm guessing its around 400-500 now?...everyone should be getting iphones then. From what i heard from a employee, they have "tons" of stock |
i guess i will go check around 11 ish |
They said "tons" on the first day at Oakridge too. But it didn't get to more than 200 in line. But hopefully they learned from that and they have more this time round. Posted via RS Mobile |
10 am and line is not moving. Gonna be a longgfgg day Posted via RS Mobile |
Yep.. Worst fucking experience. I'm at the front of the line and they keep letting random people go in. More than half the staff aren't doing jack. The wooing and screaming is getting very annoying. Posted via RS Mobile |
guessing they sold out by now? |
yup, all gone... it's a complete mess over there. |
so how many people actually got theirs? |
My friend was about 40th in line and said he's still waiting in line Posted via RS Mobile |

Wow, thank god i didn't go...was there any reason why lines was not moving? and why it took so long for you guys to get your phones? new staff? |
there were a lot of new people at the activation department.. there were only 2 guys that actually knew what they were doing, and in the beginning there were only 8 reps, then they got more which quickened things up |
Can anyone also confirm they also saved some stock for tomorrow morning? |
Insane day. Lined up 3am-730am outside, then they only let about 200 people into mall. Pretty much cut off and left about 400 people outside. At 730, the 60 people that were suppose to be ahead of us, jumped to about 120 people....friends and more friends.... Then we pretty much waited from 8pm to 2pm to even come CLOSE to getting into the store. The average time was 7 people per hour with like what....7-8 reps only? There were 2 lines. One for grand opening people, and one for iphone4. Media was everywhere. As for stock, they had quite a bit. A guy went around with a ipad taking orders from people, like McDonalds. "2 each? okay, what size? locked? upgrade?". All people had to do was wait really. They guranteed people phones as long as they were willing to wait. When the Ipad ran out of stock, they just turned people away. But that was after like..300 people? |
the richmond centre apple store had 700 iphone 4's in stock. (heard from a friend who works there), whether or not all 700 were processed, i have no idea yet.. when i went to the mall at 1030 this morning, the line up was still past sears |
