In addition to the rest of the comments, once the Apple managers realized that they were not able to allocate time for each transaction for every one in the line up (which was a lot, approximately a thousand people), they created a cutoff and essentially cut the line by more than 60% and limited cards were given out to people that were willing to wait. They gave out cards and entered everyone's phone preference and information in their data base manually (very time consuming, two representatives outside servicing a few hundred customers) which guaranteed card holders a phone on Sunday or the following day. These people will be given priority within the next couple of days so I would advise people to not bother lining up if you don't have a card as I expect even card holders will have to line up and compete amongst themselves. I am skeptical, after experiencing today's line up (even though I was quite far up) that they will even have enough time to process and make transactions for all the high hoped and promised card-holders.

Flash is just software so if it comes to the ios in the future you're i4 should have it no problem.


Apparently it's sold out in Seattle too but my Physiotherapist told me you can walk into an Apple store in NY and pick one up any time.

Why do people always think like this? "Oh, I'll just get the next one because it'll have more features."

That'll be the case for the rest of time as technology continues to improve. If you wait, you just end up not getting anything. Who cares if it's obsolete soon? Sell it and buy a new one.

Passed by RC Apple Store, they only doing iphones for people who lined up yesterday. They will be doing this on monday as well. Tuesday is when they start selling to the rest of the people again. I was told this by 2 apple employees that was working there today

i got the same answer today, they will restock on tuesday

I thought I was one of the last people to get an iphone4. Who else still needs to get one?

Went to wireless wave @ W 4th in Kitsilano, no stock...will probably try bestbuy/futureshop on cambie and the one on broadway

fido retentions says no stock...she advised me to go to PC since i was in BC...but 2 posts up says that PC is out of stock :(

I just called Retentions again, told them Telus was offering me the same plan, but they had an iPhone ready for me, lol didn't work. They said that they honestly do not have any stock right now. Oh well.
