In other news, I got my shipment notice for my iPhone today! I ordered on September 1st and it says it should be here on the 16th. That's two weeks early if it manages to make it here on the 16th.

Currently in line at RC and the line ups not too bad.

Got to PC at 7:30am, missed the cut off by 6 people. Fuck sakes.

Was 2nd in line at 630. Got a HUP 16 and unlocked 32 to sell. 6am is the safe bet for nearly all stores now.

Do they get shipments most weekdays?

I went to RC @ 10:30AM and got confirmation that i would get aslong as i wait in the line, was about 20th in line or so. Got really hungry and did not want to wait in line, so i left.

How do you know when they get a shipment of iphones?

usually for fido the shipment comes from 11am-2pm, I waited for 2hours today for the shipment, 2hrs later 3box came in fido ppl say NO IPHONE TODAY...:bullshit:

Most often then not shipments of phones are usually ready for sale M-F. Watch out for trend days like Mondays since everyone that found out they cant get one on the weekend camp on Monday. Friday is just a crapshoot cause more ppl have it off and they think its the last hoorah before the weekend. Tues-Thurs is most likely the safest bet as you wont have to face as big of a line up. Also use trends, for instance stalk iphoneincanada.ca forums and read up on when PC/RC/oakridge DIDNT get a shipment. Most likely they get a shipment for the next day. Don't bother waiting midday for one anymore. Just go early (6am is pretty early now a days) and wait till 8ish when they come out to report if they even have any. They'll never tell you how many they have so be the first 20 and guarantee yourself a phone. I knew RC store opened on Saturday and they got in hundreds of phones. Iphoneincanada guys and ppl on rs reported that Monday and Sunday will only have phones for people with a ticket. Since Tuesday is the first day its for sale for ppl that didnt get a ticket, there was a high chance there'd be some today since RC is still somewhat hyped and new. Luckily for me there was. Im assuming its also a high chance tomorrow (Wednesday) they'll have phones as well at RC.

I just called the RC apple store and they said they were sold out.

called retentions @ 9:30AM and they got nothing :(

there has been no reception issue. proximity sensor is more like it, its the placement of it thats hanging up and muting my calls

There's almost no point in phoning to check if they have instantaneous stock. By the time you get there if they do, it'll be gone. Take your chances and just go in the morning.
