$779 x 1.12 = $872.48 CAD x 7.5 = $6543 HKD


but.. it'd be cheaper if u just sign 2 year contract in HK and get the phone for free.. just like Japan..

Not really sure about availability here, but that's the advertised price at electronic stores like Fortress or local mobile carriers.

Blah UPS' tracking still says "Billing Information Received".... so either it really is backordered, or UPS' tracking really, really sucks.

UPS tracking is kind of slow. They update whenever the barcode gets scan.
And if you get billing information received on the ups page then that means they are just waiting for UPS to come back up the package. So yours is not in backordered

Lucky! I ordered mine from retentions on the 9th and still haven't received a shipping notice. I'm guessing your with Fido, correct?

Yup Fido... ordered from Retentions on the 16th, ship notice on the 17th, out for delivery today.

Is yours a 32 GB or 16 GB? If you still haven't received a ship notice I'd call and see what's up.

The wireless wave at Brentwood mall asked me if I wanted to be added to their waiting list when I called about stock a couple weeks ago, don't know if their still doing it or how big the list is though.

32GB, they didn't have any 16GBs in stock. I called on Friday and they said it should ship soon, I don't know what their definition of "soon" is, but this is ridiculous. I already have my white conversion case and everything too! :(

You did get the HUP notification though, right? (Just make sure they've really got your order down.)

Where'd you get the white conversion? I was thinking about it... my friend got just the white back and he calls it "panda". I call it ugly. :P All white or bust...

I got the order confirmation e-mail a couple of hours after talking to retentions. Bought the full kit off Iresq for $215.

They must just be short of 32 GB stock then... I'm a 16 GB. Hmm... $215 is a little rich for me. :( Too bad, the white looks sweet.
