someone plz be nice enough to share the wealth... post rogers retention phone number i tried asking but she said there really isnt a direct line? i have to be transfered? which i do not enjoy calling, they lied to me no i4, retention can get me 16gb or 32gb no problem. Oops, you're on rogers. I don't know the rogers retention numbers--and no the fido one won't work, they're different. Someone here probably knows or try searching howard forums. |
just called rogers, got another iphone 4 through HUP the number to retentions is 1-866-304-4248 |

Thanks for the number!! I jsut ordered a 16G. The Rogers rep said the 32's are gone and by the time I hang up the 16's will be gone as well. Mugen; You need to tell them to put you on a NEW plan that is similar to what you have so you can get rid of the $7 fee. |
lol called back...doesnt work. So this fob chick put me on a new syste, where i save a whopping of 12 cents, YAYYYY old system to new system, new system plan costs $5 dollar more, plus $2.xx government bullshit fee, so it works out to be the same. except i save 12 cents. whatever than i ask her what was my total bill, 3 times she got it wrong. $42, 46,47. I was like ughh wtf. So i taught her math $20 plus $7 service fee plus taxes was $30, today i added data $25 plus taxes total should be around $60. Than she goes, OH YA! its $62...im thinking NO SHIT! now im feeling iffy if she screwed up my phone plan, i sure hope not |

negative should be $25 for 6gb data dude i just signed today call back and harass them they cant waive my bullshit $35 new system activation fee even tho im an old customer. Excuse was the i4 has such a great interest...basically they want to milk it as much as possible. In the past they were able to waive it.. |
When I tried to up it to the 6gb from the 500mb, they told me it was $30 and that I'd lose my old iPhone plan. Told them to forget it since I don't really need over 500mb anyway. Most of the time I'm around a wireless source, so it's not a big deal. |
I have the 6gb plan and the most data i've used to date has been 400mb's. |
Only reason I signed up for the 6gb data again, was to get internet tethering back, and because rogers further credited by data discount :-P |
@ Mugen - $25 is 500mb and $30 is 6gb. I don't understand where you're getting 25 from unless they give you a $5 credit for data. Not everybody gets offered the $5 credit without hassle. |

I got the retentions guy to email an outline of my plan. that way i would know if he got it right. difficult to understand with some of their accents. and now that i had his email i just emailed him when i needed retentions and he would call me back if he was working. skip the line ftw! lol. but now that hes finished my case, he said to not email him which i understand why. OMFG. Got the order confirmation from Rogers 2 days ago and the shipping addy was wrong. I specifically asked them to mail it to my work and they used my home address instead. For 2 days, I tried to call and get this fixed and was given the run around. One person said there is nothing she could do and gave me the UPS phone number and told me to call them to change it once I get my UPS tracking number. Another CSR forward me to the Tracking department 1-800-704-2474 and get them to change the addy on the order since the order had not been shipped out yet. Call that other department and the gal on the other end of the phone says there is nothing she could do since the order was in the system and that I should be calling customer care. I get transfered to customer care and he told me to call UPS when I get the tracking number. Checked with her and the ph# the first guy gave me was for the UPS general line and I would need to call a different number to change the addy. No one knows when the phone will be shipped out and no one can change the addy for me. I last CSR was the nicest and she took her time to explain everything to me, but said had I called earlier then something might have been done. She even commented that there was a note on my file to have the phone shipped to an alternate addy and she couldn't figure out why no one did that with my order. I'm starting to think I won't be getting my phone this week even though I placed the order on monday. But at least now I will have more fire power against them to get more credits when I call them after I get my phone. Grrrr.... |

SumAznGuy, damn that sucks. But i'm just wondering how you got a email confirmation on your order 2 days ago and I ordered mine on monday through rogers and still haven't received any emails... Seems inconsistant to me since one csr said i should receive a email when the order is placed, and one said i should get it when UPS gets the package and they receive a tracking number. 2 business days in out of the 3-5 they told me and i still dont even have a confirmation on a phone. |
