i really doubt the rumor is true that there's 1000+ iphone at apple store.. when there's only like 10-15 iphone per other carriers.. you'd think the carriers will throw a rage at apple if they have 1000+ phone per store themselves so 2000+ when they each only get 10-15

Apple doesn't care. Apple is in a win-win situation.

Sell it at Apple Store for full price unlocked = full profit.
Sell it to provider = split profit.

Apple only cares if they can beat their own quarterly profit. Not if providers are happy or not about the amount of stock they get.

well just got back from richmond center and aberdeen... richmond center is out

i found a couple stores that had it but they won't let me renew to get it

I called Fido this morning and address this problem. They said they know and are trying to enforce the stores to allow upgrade as well as new sign ups. They told me that I should e-mail Fido HQ and file a compliant when this happens. They are not selling the iphone 4 direct for fido yet, they asked me to wait a week. O well....

ic.. did you file a complain? I'm not sure if its even worth my time...

I showed up at opening (8:30) at wireless wave guildford, waited in line for an hour (14th) and walked out a happy new owner of the iPhone 4. :thumbsup:

dude you must be the guy offering to selling for like $800-$850 on cl, reasonable price i must say. I just flip my 16gig for $1000, i'm a happy camper now I can enjoy my own iphone 4 knowing i save close to $300, its unlocked and I can freely switch providers after my contract is up:)

Naaaaaa that wasn't me but I was thinking about doing that then down the road once I found out which phone I want 9800 or iphone so my plan was ask ppl way back to see how much thread offer me for my spot and then this guy just came up to me with his wife, anyways if he never came up to me I would have walked in the store and picked up one for myself but I don't even really care bc I made money and I could easily pick it up and sell it down the road

Do they accept cash or Visa/Mastercard only? I remember Apple restricting people from purchasing more than 1 or 2 iPads in States by registering names and CC's info.

I did see a few people walk in there with cash but yeah you could only get 2 max...

Sold out til maybe next week ...so they say. But you would have to keep calling and asking...they do not reserve unless you work for telus or a wireless company.

Sold out till end of next week. I checked with 10 fido and 7 Rogers stores who I have ties with.

You have better luck with Bell or Telus stores.

They offered a solution when Rogers crashed when the lineup was still going. They put certain ones aside for those who reserved (aka. me!) and left the line. :thumbsup:
